Soldier’s Memorial Hospital in Middleton and Digby General Hospital provide inpatient, outpatient and convalescent services.

Our emergency health care services are augmented by one of the best ambulance services in North America.  It doesn’t matter if you live on Brier Island or Bridgetown, there are ambulances stationed just minutes away.

Supplementing our two main health care facilities, the Annapolis Royal Community Health Centre provides basic health care and outpatient services and you’ll find doctors and nurse practitioners throughout the region practicing a variety of specialties. Alternative and natural health care practitioners are also dominant in the Annapolis Digby region.

Still, our work is not done.  Annapolis Digby is actively recruiting doctors and other medical staff to the region, offering wonderful life quality and generous incentives.
