The Settlement Navigator at ADEDA is here to help contribute to the successful settlement of newcomers by facilitating access to the following types of services:

• Orientation - helping to ensure newcomers can make informed decisions about their settlement and understand life in Canada
  
  
• Language/Skills - helping to ensure newcomers have access to language/skills needed to function in Canada
  
  
• Labour Market Access - helping to ensure newcomers can obtain the required assistance to find employment commensurate with their skills and education
  
  
• Welcoming Communities - helping to ensure that newcomers receive help to establish social and professional networks so they are engaged and feel welcomed in their communities

We are here to help immigrants or newcomers to this region learn how to access medical care, transportation, or other community services.

We can help orient newcomers to their community by finding local housing or schooling, or providing opportunities to connect with others in this region for employment or social activities.

We can make referrals to local service-providing agencies.
