Annapolis Royal is the centre of a vibrant artist and artisan community in southwestern Nova Scotia. In this town of less than 500 people, you’ll find art galleries, artists groups, artisan exhibitions, music and live theatre at King’s Theatre. Annapolis Royal also brims with popular festivals and events that complement and enhance the arts and culture scene.

In Margaretsville, Evergreen Theatre brings live performances to the area with a full season line up of traditional, folk and popular recording artists.  Cap your evening with a short stroll to the wharf and take in the artwork on display by the “Artists Circle”. Preview the diverse talent that awaits you at Fundy Arts.

At the western end of the region, the community comes together to celebrate the Digby and Area Theatre Society performances.

Even the soil reaps artistic and cultural experiences. Enjoy fresh offerings from local Farmers Markets in Annapolis Royal and Lawrencetown most weekends during the summer and early fall. You’ll find local produce, with a side of art, crafts, collectibles and, often times, live entertainment.
