Drop In For Lunch

The Municipality of the District of Digby is giving new meaning to the old expression “Why don’t you drop in for lunch”?

The Municipality will be hosting a fly in lunch and open house at the Digby Municipal Airport August 21st from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

This event will be an opportunity to unveil the new name for the airport, allow, citizens to see the operations on the airport grounds and host general aviation pilots within the region.

You’re invited to bring all your aviation enthusiasts - young and old - for a day of hangar flying and a free fish chowder lunch (while supplies last).

Fly over our beautiful municipality and fishing port.

And operators can fill up with the cheapest 100LL fuel in Nova Scotia, as the airport will be offering a discount of 20 cents per liter. Unicom 122.80 (CYID)
